StomperNet Round 2

by Joe Mudd on September 10, 2008

Stomping the Search Engines 2Well I’m feeding my junkie self again.

I just signed up for the newest offer from the StomperNet gang.

This time I get the newest Stomping the Search Engines 2 DVD set. And I get it for just the cost of postage.

The catch is I also get a free sample of their new print newsletter “The Net Effect.”

If I don’t cancel, I automatically get charged for a continuing subscription.

Fine. I want to see the newsletter. I might keep it.

But…

My first impression is that StomperNet has been kidnapped by Mike Filsaime. The sign up process has One-Time-Offers out the wazzoo.

If the print newsletter is like that piece of crap he sent out recently, I’ll be canceling in about 5 minutes after opening the package.

Time will tell.

I have been thinking of trying the free offer, the Stomping the Search Engines 2 DVD set, I just wonder if it is as easy to cancel as they claim, they say you have to cancel by a phone number, but in the fine print it states you have to go the a website to cancel, witch is it.

When you get yours in the mail write a review on Stomping the Search Engines 2 DVD set.

@Allen – I’ll be writing a review – if the DVD’s ever show up.

In the original Stomping the Search Engines Brad and Andy showed lots of examples from their sites. When I watched the DVD’s they were getting kind of dated. A lot of things had changed on their sites, so some info wasn’t really valid anymore. I’m looking forward to the updated info straight off the presses.

Hi Joe,

Both the DVD’s and the journal are actually very in-depth.

What ticks me off is that for all the bonuses that were supposedly free, each one required an opt-in in order to receive it. I don’t consider that “free”.

@Scott – Thanks for the update. I read and enjoyed your review of STSE2 on your blog.

Like you, I don’t really consider trials of paid products to be bonuses… but a free month of Immediate Edge is a no brainer for me.
